Hello!  I am Bibi Baxter and I am very pleased to meet you.  As the Proprietor and Managing Director of Musical English Lessons International, specialising in creating teaching materials for use with music, I have written articles for International TESL/TEFL magazines, based in South America and Britain.  

Furthermore, I am an experienced English language teacher;  apart from teaching English to multi-national groups in Britain since 1976, I have also taught at a range of educational institutions in Germany and France.  Although grammar and pronunciation are my specialties, I take great pleasure in making lessons more interesting with the use of music and video.   

I have  created this free website for the following reasons:-

• to provide free resources and new ideas for tutors of English all over the world

• to provide encouragement, support and free exercises for students of English everywhere

• to encourage budding authors and poets

May I wish all tutors success with their lessons and good luck to all students with their studies.

• My kind, gentle & hardworking parents, who gave me the best start in life anyone could wish for, by: 

  • being good role models

  • introducing me to the importance of music

  • encouraging me to learn as much as I could

  • allowing me to develop my own personality without interference - just occasional guidance

• My three mature sisters who continued to guide me after my parents died.
